Hedge Cutting

Hedges are planted to mark boundaries, for privacy and to provide wind breaks: The mixed English “thorny” hedge was the traditional alternative to expensive stock fencing.

We plant traditional bare root mixed English hedging which in the South is predominately Hawthorne based with a mix of Blackthorn, Dog Rose, Field Maple and Wild cherry with no plants that are poisonous to livestock.

Our Power Arms have a massive 6.0M reach

We use power arms from McConnel the world leaders in Power Arm technology for precision hedge cutting at low Tier 3 tractor emissions.

We operate a seasonal Hedge Cutting program starting on the 1st August through to the end of February in keeping with DEFRA Regulations and Natural England guidelines for the protection of hedgerow nesting birds

Residential Hedge Cutting

We also offer a full precision hedge cutting service to residential customers who have road facing hedges. We can cut the outside face and straight cut the top by machine leaving the garden face for the land owner or we will hand cut the garden face if a full service is required. This delivers a very economic precision Hedge cutting service to the home owner.
